When it comes to radio she does not need any introduction, former Metro FM DJ Penny Lebyane could be heading to greener pastures. The seasoned radio presenter has parted ways with Massive Metro following four years at the station. The legendary Lebyane joined the online radio station after a short tenure at Thobela FM, before that she worked for Metro FM. Rumour has it that Lebyane crossed swords with the powers that be. But another source says Penny is a professional who does her job to the best of her ability. "Penny knows what she wants and how to do her job, she has put too much effort into making her show work at Massive metro. She knows how to do her job and is good at what she does, "says the source.

ANNOUNCING HER DEPARTURE 

Lebyane took to Twitter to announce her departure. "Please note I have parted ways with the online digital platform#masivemetro after a successful four years run four years run first as Massive morning host the #phly 3to5daily' she wrote. According to the source her contract ended, and she did not want to renew as she is focusing her energies towards her production company

SHOWING GRATITUDE 

The former YFM also took time to thank her team as well as her listeners. "I had a great time with the team as well as the guests all around. Thank you to everyone who was part of the experience, "she added. According to another source Lebyane could be heading to greener pastures as the radio season is about to be open. The source adds that Lebyane has been getting some offers from big commercial radio stations. "Remember is a household name when it comes to radio in this count, she is brilliant at what she does, she does it need radio, they need her " adds the source.

When called for comment Lebyane asked to be left alone. "I have nothing to say,' she said before hanging up.
