Actress and businesswoman Pearl Thusi went viral after posting revealing photos and videos on her Instagram page over the weekend. Thusi wore a see-through catsuit revealing everything. The well-rounded and professionally sculptured twins on her chest were visibly bare for all to fully admire. She was on the trend list on Sunday and throughout yesterday. Some social media critics called her out while some said she had every right to dress her body as she pleases.
NOT A STRANGER TO CONTROVERSY
This is not the first time Thusi has gone such a route. Long before the new Hollywood fashion trend to go sheer see-through and often without a bra, Thusi has always gone to her Zulu maiden roots, although she has long passed the age of virginity testing. Several years ago, Thusi and actress Bonny Mbuli showed off their hot after-pregnancy bodies in a fully nude shoot for charity.
PARTYGOERS WERE NOT PHASED
Thusi’s go-to wardrobe at a nightclub did not impress many. On-lookers either ignored her ’look at my antics’ or posed with her for pictures. "She is too old for this, am sure she can pull other attention stunts...not this one," says one critic. In the viral photos this weekend, Thusi who was promoting her alcohol brand was seen on the DJ stage in her sheer catsuit trying to get the patrons to notice her but no one seemed to care as she danced risqué and openly directed eyes to her sculptured chest area. Social media commentators denounced her appearance in our conservative society while other commentators praised her ability to express her freedom. A debate has ensued about culture and how older role models ought to behave while others pointed out that maidens in various cultural events are often bare-chested. Another user wrote: "Imagine if females in South Africa decided to dress like this? Showing off their boobs, trending because of some socialite. It’s disgusting, in my opinion! Nothing liberating of this, no modesty. We need to protect kids,"

CLAPPING BACK AT HATERS
Hitting back at social media critics, the Queen Sono actress posted pictures dressed in a see-through jumpsuit showing her breasts captioned: "Don’t slide if you like reporting people. Unfollow me or block me so we can both mind our business." Thusi got support from followers who said they did not see anything wrong with how she chooses to dress.
