Soccer legend Matthew Booth’s married mistress has filed for divorce from her lecture husband Klaus Moller. Bongani Mthombeni-Moller and Booth’s affair was exposed by the former soccer star’s estranged wife Sonia Booth.

PENDING DIVORCES

ZiMoja can confirm that Mthombeni-Moller filed for divorce in February after their dirty laundry was aired in public. According to highly placed sources, her divorce is far from being amicable. A divorce hearing between Bongani Mthombeni-Moller and Klaus Moller is being heard at the Randburg Magistrates Court today. According to the source, Bongani remains in her house in Kylami while Booth moved out of his matrimonial home in March this year. "They are still together although they still live apart. Sonia and Mathew’s divorce has not yet been finalised because there are assets he is trying to hide. Now that the chickens have come home to roost- he doesn’t want to declare certain things and Sonia is coming for everything," adds the source. The source added that since the affair was exposed, her marriage also fell apart to the point that her soon-to-be ex-husband decided to leave her and even changed his number to avoid people. "All parties were left with embarrassment and shame including Mathew who lost some of the sponsors because the affair dented his brand," adds the source.

THE CHEESE CAKE 

Although both parties denied the affair earlier this year, Matthew and Bongani made headlines after former model Sonia, exposed the scandalous affair that played out so publicly on social media after Mathew baked a cheesecake for her in the middle of the night. According to sources, Bongani cited broken promises and irreconcilable differences as the reason for her divorce. The court proceedings were not made public, but it is expected that the divorce will be finalised soon.
