Condolences are pouring in for Big Nuz's Mandla "Mampintsha" Maphumulo who passed away this morning. Mampintsha, suffered a minor stroke a week ago following a gig. The 40-year-old businessman, producer and artist from multi-award winning group Big Nuz, breathed his last breath in hospital where he was admitted.
SURVIVED BY BABES AND SPONGE
Known for good kasi punch lines, Mampintsha is survived by his wife Babes Wodumo and their son Sponge Wodumo, who was born on 16th June last year.The pair officially tied the knot in a glamorous traditional wedding ceremony last year. An emotional DJ Tira could not speak as he was highly emotional. This week Afrotainment issued a statatement following the star's hospitalisation and things looked promising.
STRESS AND FATIGUE
This week a close family member, confirmed to Zimoja that the Ngeke singer has been admitted to Durdoc Hospital in Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal after a minor stroke that affected his mobility and speech. The friend sai, Mmapintsha started not feeling well early December but was hospitalised on 17 December. "He thought it had something to do with ancestors. But it seems like it's a health issue, probably from working too much and stress. But doctors are still trying to get a clear indication as to what may have caused it,' he said.
