Former Finance Minister, Malusi Gigaga is officially off the market again. Malusi is implicated in the Zondo Commission report which suggests that he may be investigated for his ties with the controversial Gupta family. This weekend, Malusi is said to have paid lobola for his new love, Nomfundo Fakudze from ekwaManzini in eSwatini over the weekend.

DIVORCE?
Gigaba will be marrying for the third time after his nasty divorce from businesswoman Norma Mngoma and previously Thabong Nxumalo. Over the years, Malusi's life has been surrounded by scandals. In 2015, Malusi had an affair with Buhle Mkhize and in 2020 Norma and his then-mistress had their first social media altercation. Just a year after the Gigaba's tied the knot in 2014 in a glamourous wedding ceremony at the Durban Botanic Garden, he allegedly cheated with Buhle.
THE AFFAIRS
In 2017, Buhle aired Malusi's dirty laundry on social media. Buhle came out guns blazing and threatened to reveal evidence about her affair with Malusi. "I virtually met Malusi in early July 2014 via Instagram. We'd randomly started following each other on the network, and discovered we shared the same sense of humour that led to an exchange of banter.' Buhle wrote. "The messages were flattering but uncomfortable. I am married and had had a relationship with a public figure in the past and hated what comes with it so this wasn't the route I wanted to take even if I was single.' Buhle went on to explain that she only found out about Malusi's marriage on the day of his wedding. "He explained that he'd been married in the past and had an ugly divorce that didn't sit well with some of the public. He also said that he wanted to succeed politically and had kids with Norma and it wouldn't be the right image for him to have the record of an ugly divorce and then a baby mama who in his own words basically cornered him into marrying her.' ?
MORE SCANDALS
In the same year, Malusi and Norma were revealed to have spent taxpayers' money of over R500 000 on travel. In 2018, Malusi's sex tape was leaked on social media. The 34-second-long video shows the former minister pleasuring himself. Malusi responded saying the video was leaked after his phone had been stolen. He also claimed that the leaking of the video was meant as blackmail to extort money from him.
In 2020, Malusi laid criminal charges against his estranged wife Norma after she allegedly damaged his friend's car, parked at their home. In July, Norma was arrested by the Hawks on charges of assault and malicious property damage, after she allegedly damaged a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon belonging to Malusi's friend and trade unionist Peterson Siyaya.
