The horror of living with blood clots

Manqobizitha Manyathi is seeking help for an op as doctor have given him two years to live

Manqobizitha Manyathi (30) from Ormonde in the South of Johannesburg may look healthy but in reality the doctors has given him  two years to live. Manyathi is seeking donations of R150 000 for him to be able to travel to Cuba, where he was told they offer surgical operations for his rare case. "I was diagnosed with a blood clot (deep vain thrombosis) which clogged my heart and my lungs and I've recovered from this rare case and I am still not 100% and I hear there is an operation in Cuba where they help treat it but I need financial sponsor for me to be able to afford that trip and operation or medication that can restore my health," said Manyathi.

COMPLICATIONS FROM A CAR ACCIDENT

Manyathi said that he was scared when they first informed him that 2023 may be his last year on earth. "I was involved in a car accident that left me with this complication. When they told me that I had blood clots, I became stressed as they highlighted the complications I might face. I have accepted that I'm surviving through God's grace and I don't know how I made it this far," he said.

GOD'S GRACE

He says that all he is asking for is a Good Samaritan who can sponsor his trip and operation in in Cuba. "I am pleading to any business person to help save my life. Im not employed but I survive on fixing cars and the money I'm making is not enough to cover all my travelling and operation costs. I need help as I'm not happy with the state of my health" he said. Manyathi further said: "The specialists from the the health institution that had admitted said I was lucky to survive the first episode, where I had blood clots in my lungs that caused them to fail, but with God's grace I have survived."
