Legendary actor Luthuli Dlamini occupies producer's house after he failed to pay him

Luthuli Dlamini is reportedly refusing to leave a TV producer's house until he is paid

Legendary actor Luthuli Dlamini is allegedly refusing to vacate the house of a TV producer in Observatory Johannesburg after he failed to pay him. Dlamini was a lead character in a drama series that was shot last year but never made it to he small screen. Its reported that Dlamini is currently jobless and going through a hard time.

OWED

It's alleged that producer Mercier Bangala owes Dlamini R150 000 for a series that they shot in September last year called Empty Love. The series didn't make it to tv. Sources close to the situation said that Bangala has made life very hard for the former Scandal actor as he is battling to make ends meet. "Bangala gave Dlamini a lead role in a drama series named Empty Love which was supposed to be shot for one month, but they ended up shooting it for three months. Some of the cast members quit the show because of payments," the source said.

HOUSE OCCUPATION

Another source said that Dlamini left his house in Bedfordview to occupy Bangala's residence in a bid to make him pay him. "He is desperately in need of his money. Bengala has been avoiding paying Dlamini since last year. He said he will never move out of that house unless he is paid every cent owed to him. Dlamini invested his time in that project, and he deserves to be paid his money in full," another source said.

CONFIRMATION

When contacted for a comment, Dlamini first said that he didn't want to comment. "Some of what you asked me is not true and some is untrue," he said. Attempts to get comment from Bangala proved fruitless as his phone rang unanswered. It is said that Dlamini lost five gigs when he was busy shooting Empty Love last year which never made it to tv because of financial problems.
