Label owner says DBN Gogo’s team threatened him with an AK47

Sfiso Ndlovu says he felt threatened by DBN Gogo’s team

Piano Pulse podcast founder and Lea Entertainment owner Sfiso Ndlovu says he has been threatened by Mandisa “DBN Gogo” Radebe’s manager and bodyguard and they pointed him with an AK 47.

THREATENED

Sifiso said, “I said something on a podcast two years ago and they tried to kill me last week." He said he was coming from Bloemfontein to Joburg with his friend and didn’t want to go home. "My wife was not home, so we went out to a club at around 2am," he said. He said while at the club, he saw DBN Gogo with other artists and friends and started feeling some tension. After sensing some tension, Sifiso said DBN Gogo’s manager started pushing him around. “I asked DBN Gogo why her manager was pushing me around. I moved and sat in the corner," he added.

MUSIC BUSINESS

He explained: “So, this is when I called the manager outside in the parking lot. He confronted me and said that two years ago, I said he was not a good manager. I said they were missing gigs by not responding to requests and missing money for their artists,” he said. “I don’t see anything management around the DBN Gogo brand. It’s just driven by money; she has a lot of money. She is doing well because she can book a flight to Tomorrow Land, and here in South Africa, we will think she is booked. She can afford to do that," the friend said. ” He said as he was explaining, another guy came out. “He went to DBN Gogo’s car and took out an AK47. The bouncers came out and blocked the guy," he said. He added that because of what happened, he will not comment on anything related to the DJ. DBN Gogo could not be reached for comment.
