King Misuzulu’s adviser killed

It seems that the fight for the Zulu royal throne is far from over after another incident where another Prince was gunned down. Prince Muntukaphiwana Zulu is a well-known confidante, adviser, and staunch supporter of King Misuzulu who was recently awarded a certificate to lead the Zulu Nation. King Misuzulu is facing court cases after his brother and Prince Simakade samaZuluapproached the high court of KZN demanding what he terms his throne. Simakadewas born by the late King Zwelithini to a girlfriend.?

HOW IT ALL HAPPENED
According to reliable insiders, Muntukaphiwana was gunned down on Thursday, 24 November outside his homestead in Osuthu village inKwaNongoma. “He had just arrived from his business ventures. He happened to ask his bodyguards to take a day off not knowing that there were people following his movement,” the insider reveals. “He was such an incredible man and he stood for what he believed in.” The moles within the Zulu Royal family tells ZiMoja that the family was wary of the going killings of anyone associated with the king. "They are targeting everyone who supported King Misuzulu. These people from the other side are hungry for power. As much as they have tried to go the civil way (court proceedings) but they will never win. We are resolute, King Misuzulu is ours no matter what they can do.”
Insiders add that Muntukaphiwana could have been killed by the brother of his bodyguard. ?

Speaking on the passing of Prince Muntukaphiwana, Traditional Prime Minister to the Zulu Monarch and leader of the IFP's Parliament Caucus Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi says, “His Majesty King Misuzulu kaZwelithini and the Zulu Royal family were distraught last night to learn of the brutal murder of Prince Muntukaphiwana by Zulu by unidentified gunmen near his residence in Nongoma,” he says. "As the traditional Prime Minister to the Zulu Royal nation, I am deeply pained by this loss. I have not only known Prince Zulu all his life but have served with him in parliament caucus where he represented the Inkatha Freedom Party as a member of the National Council of Provinces, “he adds.
“I thus also speak on behalf of the IFP Parliamentary Caucus which I lead in expressing condolences to the Zulu Royal family and the nation. We have lost a great servant of the people. At the time of his passing Prince Zulu was serving as a Chief Whip at Zululand District municipality. He maintained a lifelong commitment to serving the needs of the people.”
Buthelezi further says that his most profound sympathies are with his immediate family, his wife, and his children. "This is a devastating loss to the Zulu nation and to the whole of South Africa. It reminds yet of the extreme levels of violence that plagues our country. We pray for God's intervention and for swift action by the South African Police Service in investigating this matter and making an arrest," the statement reads.
