She worked up until the last day of her pregnancy, performing, singing and promoting her latest album "From a God to a King". Friends confirm that multi-award-winning singer and songwriter Kelly Khumalo has given birth to a bouncing baby girl.
IT'S A GIRL!
ZiMoja can confirm that the singer gave birth to her bundle of joy this week. A close friend of the Khumalo family confirmed the good news saying how happy everyone is. "Nccooh! She is beautiful. Kelly's mom is the happiest. She loves all her grandchildren' the friend says. "Kelly had a C-section in Johannesburg a few days ago.' The close friend says that both Kelly's eldest kids are excited to hold their baby sister. "But as you know, we are Africans and Kelly is a modern but traditional woman, so she will be indoors for some time before announcing the birth. Past experiences have also ltaught her to protect what is important to her.'
A HAPPY PREGNANCY
Another close friend of the singer says Kelly had one of the best pregnancies. "She enjoyed it thoroughly. She looked good, was always a yummy mommy and made sure she slayed.,' he says. "In most cases, women let themselves go when they are pregnant but not Kelly.' Earlier this year, ZiMoja announced that the Esphambanweni singer was expecting baby number three with former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, Mthokozisi Yende, who she has been dating her a few years. A former friend confirmed the pregnancy despite their friendship being rocky. "Our friendship has been on and off, but I know we will be okay soon. Well, as soon as she gives birth, I know things will be okay. Kelly loves kids, she looks good and she's happy to be with a man that loves her." Kelly has two other children with TV host and musician Molemo "Jub Jub' Maarohanye and her second child with late Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa.
