Mzansi's biggest soapie Generation:The Legacy is beefing up its storyline. The SABC1 prime time show is bringing back fan favourites Karabo Moroka and Tau Mogale played by Connie Ferguson and Rapulana Seiphemo on the small screens. The duo will make their appearance on the soapie from April 2023 in a few episodes.

The pair also played a couple on Mzansi The Queen season 5 where Connie played Harriet Khoza while Rapulana played Hector Sebata. According to sources close to the arrangement, when she was approached, Connie did not hesitate to take the offer. "She has a very good relationship with the show's producers. She was very happy to return to the show. This will be Connie's fourth time playing Karabo on the show. Her last appearance was in June 2021. Connie and Rapulana left the show to focus on their other TV projects.
GENERATIONS CONFIRMS
In a statement the production confirmed that the two will make a cameo appearance on the much-loved show. "It promises to be an epic month with the drama of the show demanding the intervention of two important characters. As part of the larger Generations: The Legacy family, we can assure viewers that this is by no means the last or the least that we'll see of the two,' read the statement.
