Jub Wamaswidi amaningi

Jub Jub drives the ladies crazy and makes the men mad as he goes around the country exposing abomakhwapheni

Towards the end of last season of Uyajola 99, there were complaints amongst viewers that Jub Jub was insensitive and handling the subjects without any emphathy. Added to this a lot was happening in his personal life, especially after he appeared on Podcast and Chill with MacG. Fast forward to in this season of Uyajola 99, viewers are experiencing the Jub Jub they fell in love with when they first started watching the show. It is all thanks to the compulsory  sensitivity training he underwent and he also couldn't be happier about how this has impacted his life.

EXPOSING YOUR CHEATING PARTNER

He is equally excited about this season's instalment of Uyajola and cannot hide it. "I'm really excited about being back on the screens. What makes it even more exciting is that this season we have gone far and wide across the country in all nine provinces and neighbouring countries.' In the past Jub Jub would hold a device and share the pictures of the cheat only with the complainant but this later changed when a big screen called Motlakase came. This season Motlakase is back but on a small screen, where viewers get to see evidence that complainant's partner is indeed cheating.

GUNNING FOR ESTATES AND GATED COMMUNITIES

Jub Jub also boasts that this time around, if he has to rush to expose a cheating partner, he will be using a chopper.

"I keep hearing people saying that I won't be able to get into estate or gated communities but where I can land, I will land… wait and watch. I don't care about biometrics or booms, once I get there I will expose your cheating ways.If your partner calls me there, me and you are going to be having breakfast, lunch or dinner- it depends on the time of the day' he laughs.

NOT BREAKING FAMILIES

On a serious note, Jub Jub says Uyajola 99 has exposed him to the fact that, there are a number of children who come from broken homes and have witnessed their parents cheat and it becomes a problem when it starts affecting the children.

He says while people are of the perception that he is out to break families that is not true at all.

Jub Jub, whose real name is Molemo Maarohanye says, "In actual fact the person breaking the family is the person that is cheating and I am only exposing their deceitful ways. Some people break up after the show and some reconcile and those that reconcile we support them by offering them counselling behind the scenes.'

A CHILD STAR

Jub Jub's rise to stardom started at the age of four years old when he did an ad for a nappy brand. It was here that his mother noticed that Jub was talented and enrolled him withan agency and that's when his career in the entertainment industry took off.

The handsome Jub Jub brought a sweet touch as a cute boy doing for a n advert for a popular sour milk brand. He melted the hearts of many South Africans when he landed a big deal with a soft drink mega company, featuring former soccer star, Dr Khumalo. His star continued to shine as he presented popular music shows like Ezimtoti and Jam Alley. Jub Jub was later approached by Channel O to become a VJ.

AHEAD IN HIS CAREER

So talented that at the age of 18, Jub Jub started dabbling in music which saw him later releasing a popular song, Ndikhokhele, alongside the Jaziel Brothers.

"Music was a hidden talent,' he enthuses adding that, " I never thought it would take off like it did.'

Jub Jub says at the start of his career he was managed by his mother who encouraged him to enrol at the National School of the Arts and later overseas at the LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts.

"Going overseas was quite an experience and put me ahead in my acting and music career,' he gushes, adding that, " I went to school with the likes of Nicki Minaj.'

THE FUTURE LOOKS BRIGHT

Always looking for ways to better himself, he says he is his biggest critic and that is why every  Sunday night at 21h00, he has a date with Moja LOVE (DStv 157) as he watches episodes of Uyajola 99 to see where and how he can improve.

And what does the future hold for Jub wamaswidi amaningi?

"The future looks bright. I have learned not to talk about my plans prematurely-just watch the space.'
