Popular Limpopo artist Katlego 'Shebeshxt' Chauke (23) also known as President ya Ma2000 and New Age Makaveli has been sentenced to seven years imprisonment by the Lebowakgomo Magistrates' Court for attempted murder, assault, damage to property and discharge of a firearm.

Shebeshxt's team shared a statement saying all bookings have been cancelled following the court's verdict. "Shebeshxt played an enormous role in the Limpopo music genre and had a lot of fans across the nation,' the statement reads. "He was generally known for his hit called Sh*t Malume and Cinderella amongst others. It is with great sadness that we won't have more upcoming hits like these,' his management stated.
