Inno Morolong says her ex-boyfriend beat her black and blue

She is controversial and constantly making headlines for all the wrong reasons. If she is not beating someone outside a club, she is involved in a social media spat with a former friend or enemy.Reality show star, slay queen, and club hostess Inno Morolong has recently opened up about being allegedly abused by a partner and Zimbabwean ex-boyfriend and pastor Tapiwa Munyuki. In a recent post on social media, Inno shared graphic videos of bruises from a night of alleged violence between her and Tapiwa at a Sandton Hotel in September. She didn't want to go public with the abuse but she decided she should finally speak out because she needs justice.    "I need justice and maybe other women who have been abused by the same man will also speak out,' she says, adding, "So, we can save the next woman that will be his next victim.'

BEATEN BLACK AND BLUE

On the night of the alleged abuse, she says Tapiwa spared no punches. "He beat me up in front of my friends, then locked me in the hotel bathroom strangling and punching me. He punched me, strangled me, and kicked me," she recalls. "I almost thought I was going to die. He only stopped when security broke into the room. But he ran away immediately when he saw security.' Later that night, Inno says she went to his house. "I was in bed then he came in and started beating me up saying he was going to kill me. He beat the hell out of me and strangled me again. Luckily his brother Blessing stopped him, and I ran out. He managed to get me again and beat me up. When he saw security coming, he immediately switched and begged me saying he was sorry telling the guard, "we are fine but there was a misunderstanding.,' Inno says, Tapiwa said if she didn't protect him he would make her life a living hell.  "With bruises on my face and body, I had to lie to the security, and I said everything was fine,' she says. Inno says she was hosting that night and he said, 'babe I'm sorry let's go out.' She says she only agreed because she was too scared to be in the same house with him that night. "We went out to the club but at the end of the night he still publicly assaulted me then he drove off.' After the beating, Inno moved out because, "I felt that my life was in danger,' she says. But days later they got back together. "He said he was sorry and promised not to beat me again. I was hospitalised, luckily none of my bones were broken.

 EMOTIONAL ABUSE

Inno says Tapiwa didn't only just physically assault her but he would emotionally abuse her.  "He would belittle me, and he always expected me to buy groceries, cook and clean for him. He forced me to always look good everyday at my expense. I had to look like a doll with hair installations even in the house,' she says. "He would force me to post him on my social networks so we can look like a happy couple and so he can get clout. I knew about the cheating, but I thought he would change. His girls would DM me conversations they have had  Inno thought it would only end with emotional abuse and cheating.  "He had never touched me until that day,' she says.     The couple met in a club in Pretoria where Inno was hosting, and they have been dating for six months. They moved in together two months into the relationship, and it was all bliss. In the beginning, Inno says she did not see the red flags. "I did not see the abuse coming, we were always just madly in love until he became too comfortable,' she says.

OPENING A CASE OF ASSAULT

Inno has since opened a case of domestic violence against Tapiwa at the Sandton Police station. "This guy is dangerous and psycho and he is trying to get me to cancel the case. He tried to take me out and resolve the matter but I refused,' she says. "The relationship was toxic but he is attached because he met my family and I met his.'Sandton SAPS has confirmed that a case of assault was opened at Sandton police station. Responding to the allegations, Tapiwa says, "Inno is always looking for attention. We broke up and every time she wants to get my attention, she makes something up,' he says. On the day Inno was bruised, Tapiwa says she got into a fight with a friend. "We were at Sandton Hotel with her friend. She became jealous because of the way her friend was looking at me and she threw a bottle at her and they fought. The bruises are from her fight with her friend and not me. I don't abuse women.' Tapiwa says he is aware of the case that Inno opened against him. "She opened the case because she wanted money. I paid R85 000 for her medical bills. That was the agreement we had in order for me to not be arrested for something I didn't do. I paid. Now, she is bored and wants my attention again and she is bringing it up and I'm tired. I was known before her, I never needed her for clout. She is toxic.'
