You could investigate real-life stories that showcase the importance of having life cover. For example, a friend is grateful that their father was financially prepared when he had a terrible car accident because the disability benefit from the life cover helped maintain a decent lifestyle for the father and the family post the accident.
3: Find the right time to have the conversation
No one wants to be bombarded with serious and heavy conversations after a lovely dinner. Choose the right time for such conversations. You can use certain life events in the family or with friends to make having the conversation easier. The birth of a child for example means that there is now someone to consider should you pass away, and you need to make sure they are covered and have a future when that happens.
