Popular amapiano deejay, DBN Gogo let down her fans from Ermelo and the surrounding areas in Mpumalanga. On Friday, March 17, she was headlined to perform at Leehleza's Friday Fix at Loft Lounge in Ermelo. But she was a no-show at the gig, billed as the Lockdown weekend - in anticipation of EFF's planned countrywide shutdown on Monday.
The well-planned event would have seen DBN Gogo share the stage with Manimo, Cavas, Zinoh, Lunique, Mdez and Sai Sai.
DISAPPOINTED AND ANGRY PARTY GOERS
The host was another popular act, Leehleza of Umshove fame. The event did not come cheap as the VIP tickets went up to R7 000
After a no-show, DBN Gogo wrote a message apologising on her social media account on Saturday.
She said: "My apologies, to the people that came out in numbers to support me last night. Due to ill health circumstances, I could not make it, but I am working with the venue to find a new date."
A NEW DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED
In a statement released by Loft Lounge, read: "Fella Le Tee was never a replacement but a surprise act. A new date would be announced soon for her performance. We (sic) sorry for the inconvenience."
In recent months, DBN GOGO has been in the headlines after breaking up with her musician boyfriend, Lethabo Sebetso, affectionately known as Focalistic.
The former couple had announced their romance after spending Valentine's Day together in 2021.
