Dr Phashy opens fraud case against Thabo Bester and Dr Nandipha Magudumana

Dr Pashy alleges Nandipha and Bester defrauded her of money

There's no end to Dr Nandipha Magudumana and her convicted murderer and rapist lover Thabo Bester's crimes. Celebrity doctor, Dr Mmereka Ntshani who is also known as Dr Pashy has opened a criminal cases against Dr Nandipha and Bester on Thursday afternoon at Sandton police station. Police confirmed the cases has since been transferred to Sinoville police for further investigations.

MORE CHARGES

Dr Pashy opened a case of fraud, forgery and uttering against the infamous couple. "The case was opened on Thursday 20 April 2023. The complainant alleges the pair defrauded her of money," confirmed SAPS spokesperson Brigadier Athlenda Mathe. In previous reports Dr phashy said she was seeking legal advice after two of her passports were found in Dr Nandipha's possession.

PASSPORTS TAKEN FROM TRAVELLING AGENT

Earlier this month, ZiMoja reported that Dr Pashy claimed that the person who gave Dr Nandipha her passports was a travelling agent. The police went to Dr Pashy's house for questioning after the passports were found on Dr Nandipha. The police wanted to know how Nandipha got hold of her passport. Home Affairs Minister Aaron Motsoaledi also said at the time that they did not believe that Dr Nandipha stole the passports. It's alleged that Dr Pashy gave the passports to Nandipha and Bester who was calling himself TK Nkwana at the time, to help her apply for a job in America. "The story that Magudumana assumed the identity of Dr Ntshani, is not true. She never assumed that identity. She just carried the two passports and never used them. At no stage did she tell anyone she was Dr Ntshani," Motsoaledi said.

CONTROVERSY

Bester and Dr Nandipha were arrested in Tanzania while headed for the Kenyan border. They were deported back into the country and made their first appearances at the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court last week facing different charges. Since their arrest, four other people including Nandipha's father Xolile Sekeleni were arrested and charged with assisting Bester to escape from prison and defeating the ends of justice. National Prosecuting Authority in the Free State said they wouldn't rule out the fact that there could be more arrests of those involved in Bester's escape. The suspects will be back in court on May 16.
