Disgraced celebrity doctor, Dr Nandipha Magudumana is said to have always liked the finer things in life, even during her medical school years. This is according to some of her former medical school classmates who spoke to ZiMoja.
SHE PREFERRED CORPORATE GUYS TO STUDENTS
According to the former classmates, Magudumana has always been a high-flyer who befriended guys working in corporate. "She had nothing in common with fellow students, most of her friends were already working in corporate and were professionals and she dated those. I don't remember her dating a student on campus, she has always kept to herself,' adds the source. It does not end there, according to the former medical student at Wits Medical School, the Eastern Cape born doc turned fugitive never dressed like a student as she was always dressed to leave a lasting impression. "She had a daring dress sense land would wear clothes that would accentuate her assets and show off her cleavage and beautiful legs. But one thing I liked about her was that she was very smart and took her studies seriously,'
NANDIPHA DROVE SWEDISH MACHINE
Nandi was an envy of many ladies and a dream of many young men on campus. According to the source while many students used to flock at bus stop for a free campus bus, she was already driving a rare swanky SAAB convertible in first year of medicine. "Many of us had never seen that car because it was an import, we all assumed she was from a good family while others thought she was dating a rich guy,' adds the source.
IT IS POSSIBLE THAT SHE WAS ALREADY DATING THABO BESTER?
According to the Zimoja source it is highly possible that Nandipha was already dating her murderer boyfriend by the time she was at university. According to the source her mysterious and aloof approach makes sense now. "If the reports that she started dating this guy in 2006 are true it would make perfect sense why her behaviour was like that, and her why she always dressed fancy in first year and driving expensive Swedish car at that age,' adds the source. Meanwhile, her father Zolile Cornelius Sekeleni, was granted bail when he appeared in the Bloemfontein magistrate's court yesterday. The state indicated that, they did not oppose bail for Sekeleni, which was set at R10,000. He will appear again in court on May 16.
