FlySafair has condemned the actions of a couple giving each other sexual pleasure inside an aircraft full of passengers. The passenger sitting next to the couple told News24 that he had the worst experience after being exposed to that much disrespect.
WORST TAKE OFF
The businessman who filmed the incident as evidence claimed that the woman had her hands in her partner's pants while the plane waited to take off. He said the couple giggled and kissed without even paying any attention to him and sadly he could not leave his seat citing safety reasons. However, soon after take-off when it was safe to do so, he stood up and went to inform an air hostess with the hope of also getting the police involved for public indecency.
NOT ALLOWED
FlySafair chief marketing officer Kirby Gordon said the company condemned these acts and have taken necessary steps against the couple. "We reserve the right of admission on our flights, and we've taken the action of banning these individuals from any future flights with us. We've cancelled any future bookings and set their details on our systems so that no future reservations will be accepted," Gordon said. Gordon said the passenger who witnessed when incident needed to open a case with the police to get them involved. He said the airline would support the charges. "Procedurally we cannot give those details to him, nor can we give them to the police without written request from the SAPS for the same because these people's personal information is protected by Popia laws. FlySafair certainly do not condone this type of behaviour and the gentleman in question has our full support for his case against these individuals should he choose to bring it," Gordon said. Gordon said they have never experienced such before as passengers are usually at their best behaviours in their flights.
