Cotton Fest, which is South Africa's biggest cultural gathering and was organised by the late award winning rapper Riky Rick, heading to Cape Town this summer. Festival organisers announced that the first instalment will at the Paarden Eiland Park on Saturday 10 December."With what started out as a great idea between Riky and I many years ago, to a whole culture movement called Cotton Fest, alongside his family, we are extremely excited to be building in his legacy and extending the festival to my city, which was always part of our plans. Cape Town you're next," said co-founder Alain Ferrier.

Cotton Fest was created by music icon and fashionista Riky Rick, the festival exploded back in 2019 featuring over 150 artists. More than just a festival, youth gathering celebrate the new wave of music, fashion and lifestyle. Mainly known for celebrating both emerging and established South African talent.Cotton Fest also showcases the diversity in music while fusing the gaps within the different local current movements.
