He has not left the X trends list for almost a week. Afrobeats star Ciza (23), who is the son of ANC Provincial Secretary Thembinkosi ‘TK’ Nciza, made headlines for allegedly dating pregnant rapper Anele Zondo (31). The Bank Notification singer has since come clean about the allegations.

Ciza declared that the alleged relationship with Anele and that he impregnated her is fake news. The reports painted the 31-year-old rapper to be preying on a younger man, seven years her junior. Anele has since received a lot of backlash from social media, compared to Sithelo Shozi (29) who has two children with 22-year-old Andile Mpisane. People said she, "needs to be arrested for dating a younger boy." But Anele remained mum through the allegations.

A video of Ciza walking out of The Leonardo Hotel with a woman named Wami Mthethwa was also shared on social media. The video sparked the rumours that Ciza is cheating on the pregnant Anele, who has shown no interest in commenting on the matter and instead released a freestyle video showing off her baby bump and telling "haters to mind their business." An insider in Ciza’s camp clarifies that the girl he was seen walking out of the hotel with is the mother of his child. "They are not together and he is not cheating on Anele with her. They have a child together and had a meeting about the child. The meeting had nothing to do with dating, their relationship ended a long time ago," the source said. "Secondly, Anele is not pregnant with Ciza’s child - she is in a happy relationship with someone else," the source added. "Ciza is currently seeing someone his age. This is all a big misunderstanding."

Ciza told ZiMoja that he is not dating Anele. "It’s sad that people are painting her out to be that person. Anele and I are good friends, we work together. We are not dating. She is in a relationship and so am I," he said. "All this is not good for a pregnant woman and I wish people could just respect boundaries." Anele’s management team said she won’t respond, -just leave her.
