They are disappointed, some still in disbelief that they met and knew of the shamed Dr. Nandipha Magudumana. They are shocked that the once soft-spoken, gentle, and kind aesthetics doctor could have committed such heinous crimes with her lover and Facebook rapist and murderer Thabo Bester. Some celebrities have gone as far as to remove her pictures from their social media to avoid having any association with her.

THE ARREST

The Eastern Cape-born doctor was caught in Tanzania with her convicted criminal Thabo Bester after having fled the country. This is after Thabo's brazen escape from the Mangaung Correctional facility last year. Thabo is currently being monitored 24/7 in a maximum-security section. National Police Commissioner Fannie Masemola says the doctor faces charges of aiding and a betting escape, fraud, murder and violation of bodies. 

DR NANDIPHA'S CELEB FRIENDS

At the height of her career, Nandipha was visited by A-listers at her aesthetic medical boutique in Sandton. The clinic specialised in weight loss, body contouring, botox and fillers, scars and stretc hmarks, skincare, hair restoration to name. a few. The celebrities who flocked to her business include the likes of actor and presenter Moshe Ndiki, who at first defended the doctor but quickly changed his mind as more information started unfolding.

Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi also visited the doctor several times for consultations.  Model and TV producer Sean McCollet, and media personality Leroy Marc. Dr. Nandipha has snapped pictures with the likes of former SA president Thabo Mbeki, Nigerian star Davido and photographer Donald Chipumha to name a few. She is expected back in court today.
