Nandi Mwepu is behind company, M4 Entertainment and manages A Reece, Blxckie, Anatii and previously Lucas Raps. Nandi is responsible as an artist manager for booking events, marketing deals and publicity for her artists. Since her breakthrough in the industry, the country has seen the international rise of rapper Blxckie, real name Sihle Sithole. ZiMoja recently learned that the businesswoman is also allegedly responsible for pocketing money meant for the award-winning artist, Blxckie.

MONEY MATTERS

Those close to the business owner and the Ye rapper inform ZiMoja of how, “gatvol they are of the artist manager, living a lie.” A former business associate who does not wish to be named due to fear of “intimidation, being written off and compromising her brand” says, “It’s all going to come out. I have nothing to benefit from exposing the truth, but Nandi is evil,” she says. “Blxckie is under the impression that he owns the car that he is driving, but everything is under Nandi’s name. The house where he lives in Midrand is under Nandi’s name. Imagine that?” the associate exclaims. “Imagine an international award-winning artist thinking he has money but has nothing, instead he gets money that he thinks is enough, not knowing he is worth more. Blxckie is in the dark."

NOT OWNING

In 2022, Blxckie announced that he bought a bus which he uses to travel and for daily use and to travel to shows. “Sek’vele kwathengeka imoto!! Super prada myself, super grateful and super thankful. This is a lot, really came from nothing,” he shared on social media. According to the former friend, “The car belongs to Nandi. So is the house. It’s under his manager’s name. He is young, he’s a child, we understand that. But he needs to do his own digging to find the truth.”

DUPPED!

Another insider says Nandi allegedly duped her cousin and DJ, Dr Peppa into believing they would be business partners. “He is her cousin. If you can scam your own cousin then you are dangerous,” the insider says. “She is related somehow to Dr Peppa. But she scammed her own cousin Peppa,” the insider says. “They were supposed to own the company together, but came the time to include him in the registration documents, his name was not there and she is the sole owner of the company. Even now, they are not on good terms.”

Blaxckie made a name for himself in the music industry in a short space of time. His alleged wealth and success have been put in the spotlight. His debut single, David, which he released in April 2021, was certified gold in South Africa. Nandi did not respond to calls or questions sent to her regarding the matter.
