Reality TV star Annie Ludick-Mthembu opens up about having an abortion and troubles in her marriage

Annie Ludick-Mthembu admits that her marriage to Kgolo Mthembu is not perfect

She is a reality TV star, businesswoman, wife and mom. Ever since she found fame, she has fallen victim to social media bullying. She has been catching strays for her dress sense and her lazy eye ?" which is caused by Bell's Palsy, a neurological disorder that causes weakness on one side of the face. Recently, she was shamed after a blogger exposed details of her troubled marriage. But Real Housewives of Durban star Annie Ludick-Mthembu has since opened up about trouble in her marriage and how far she and her businessman partner have come.

Speaking on Engineer Your Life talk show with Lungelo KM, the Durban businesswoman addressed cheating rumours in her marriage with businessman and night club owner Kgolo "DaGuru' Mthembu. DaGuru is reportedly expecting a baby outside of his marriage and rumoured to be dating Shauwn Mkhize's daughter, Sbahle Mpisane. "There are evil, toxic, dangerous people who clearly have a personal agenda against me...in fact who are out to destroy me,' Annie says. "At some point, I told production that I didn't feel safe because they were meant to make sure that they bring people who won't put us in danger on the show.' Annie opened up about her relationship with her husband who rescued her from a previous abusive relationship. "I was still working for Kgolo as his assistant, and he would regularly catch me crying and comfort me.' She says, he witnessed it all and saw how badly her partner at the time was treating her. "During those years of abuse, I lost who I was and would question everything about myself,' she says. "We've been through a lot. Not necessarily to say that he's cheated but because of the behaviours that I had to unlearn, I've put him through a lot. I had to be mature. I really had to grow up and understand that I'm dating an adult.'?

REGRETTINGTHE ABORTION

?Annie spoke candidly about terminating a pregnancy. "I felt so guilty and ashamed, I was scared of God and stopped praying because I thought that what I did was unforgivable and God wouldn't accept it,' she says.  "I know I make things about my husband a lot, but Kgolo saved me. I had completely given up on my relationship with God and he helped me find myself again and find my connection with God. He was the first man that made me stop feeling guilty and feel fine about the decision to have an abortion.'
