Renowned award-winning DJ Prince Kaybee, real name Kabelo Motsamai, seems to be rubbing people in the showbiz industry the wrong way. This time, he is in a feud with former Generations actor-turned-musician NaakMusiQ, where the actor calls Prince Kaybee arrogant, but likeable.

Just this week, Prince Kaybee, who made a grand entrance in the music scene with the hit song Charlotte, was accused by Idols SA contestant Botlhale Phora of stealing his song he had sent to him in 2021. Botlhale alleges he had emailed the registered song and provided proof of the email communication. After Bothlale made the claims, Prince Kaybee took to his social media and insulted him. He has since apologised for being rude towards Botlhale. Another artist also came forward to say that the DJ stole his song he had sent him in 2020 and reworked on it. Fallen Gqom star and Gobisiqolo hitmaker Bhizer , real name Sibonelo Dimba said after sending the song to Prince Kaybee, he was quiet, and he thought he had rejected it only to hear it playing on radio a year later.
NAAK MUSIC WEIGHS IN ON PRINCE KAYBEE
In a video shared on social media, NaakMusiQ, real name Anga Makubalo says his bit about Prince Kaybee. He warns Prince Kaybee about being arrogantly. He mentioned that even if he is arrogant, he must still be likeable. "I tried to speak to the guy about being likable in public, no matter his success. Listen, I was telling this as a friend because people were already judging him. I said all of this before Twitter became big in promoting our music and our brands," he said. He said he could foresee that Prince Kaybee’s downfall would be his inflatable ego.
"Whatever that is happening currently it goes back to the statement where I asked him to lower his ego and try to be likable to the public," He also added after offering, he says Kaybee saw him as jealous. "After I advised him to be likable, I saw his WhatsApp status about enemies and jealous people showing themselves up. From there I knew that the status was referring to me after that likable comment I had made to him," he said. This latest feud has been gaining attention on social media and among fans of both artists. It will be interesting to see how this situation develops, as Prince Kaybee has not yet responded to Naakmusiq. Meanwhile, after Botlhale had accused Prince Kaybee of having stolen his song, another artist, forgotten Gqom artist and Gobisiqolo hitmaker Bhizer, came out of the woods to accuse Prince Kaybee of stealing his song too. Bhizer real name Sibonelo Dimba, said Prince Kaybee blocked him on social media, email and his cellphone. He said he only got courage to speak out after Botlhale spoke about his experience with Prince Kaybee. He also added that he was scared of speaking out, fearing that he would be blacklisted in the music industry.
