The late Ukhozi FM broadcaster, entrepreneur, and author Zanele Mbokazi-Nkambule did not live to see her new book being published. On March 27 last year, she posted on her socials that she was busy writing a book called Midwife of Dreams/ Umbelethi wa Maphupho. She wrote, "Just submitted the manuscript. New book loading. Amazing feeling, Midwife of Dreams."
FAMILY TO DECIDE ON RELEASE DATE
Her publicist, Nonjabulo Mdluli, confirmed that there is an unfinished book that Mbokazi was working on with her publishers. She said: "To be honest with you, she hadn't finalised it. But I can confirm that the book was about her personal journey," Mdluli said. In 2018, Mbokazi published a book titled Dear Daughter: #Qhakaza Girl. She is also the author of books like Push! Phusha! Push! You're Closer Than You Think, This Battle Is Not Yours, Maids and Madams, and Before The Vows. Mdluli said Mbokazi's family and children will decide on the release of the new book and other projects soon.
LAID TO REST
Mbokazi was remembered at a memorial service that was attended by industry colleagues, politicians, her fans, and the business sector at the GNF in Durban on Thursday. She was buried yesterday in Pinetown.
