He is the traffic guy and ?smooth' and ?laid-back' personality of Ayanda MVP's drive-time slot The Home Run on Y FM. On Friday, Tulani "Tulz" Madala bid his farewell to the listeners, as that was his last day on the show. Although he did not go into details on his next move, Tulz is said to have bagged an even bigger spot at the radio station.

GOODBYE

According to a close acquaintance of the former Big Brother Mzansi contestant, Tulz will be hosting his own show. "He will be doing breakfast drives on weekends. So instead of just being the traffic guy, he gets a show of his own and at a prime slot," the acquaintance reveals. "Tulz has worked really hard to earn the spot and has proven himself through the years, so he deserves it." His colleagues on the Home Run said their goodbyes and how they will miss the banter, his humour, and his invaluable contribution to the show. 

BIG MOVES

In 2015, Tulz won a competition that bagged him a hosting gig at the youth station alongside Ayanda MVP. He later joined 5FM, and almost six years later, he rejoined Y FM after being eliminated on Big Brother Mzansi. The East London-born star became popular on Big Brother for being a straight-talker. He was not available to comment on his new role at the radio station. The station is yet to announce the new line-up for 2024 and 2025.
