WITH LOVED ONES
In a statement, his family said, he peacefully departed on March 21, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. "Foreman, a heavyweight champion boxer, was a devout preacher, a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grand and great grandfather," his family said. "A humanitarian, an Olympian, and two-time heavyweight champion of the world. He was deeply respected - a force for good, a man of discipline, and conviction, and a protector of his legacy, fighting tirelessly to preserve his good name - for his family."
A LIFE WELL LIVED
They share their gratitude for the support. "We are grateful for the outpouring of love and prayers and kindly ask for privacy as we honour the extraordinary life of a man, we were blessed to call our own.' Close friends shared the memories with the boxing legend and how he was regarded as one of the best ever to do it. Charles Barkley said his passing hurt deeply. Speaking on CBS Sports, he said Foreman always "picked his brain about trying to be an entrepreneur when your career is over. He was obviously one of the greatest boxers ever, but just a gentleman, he was a pastor - and it just hurts man, plain and simple", he adds. Magic Johnson labelled him a boxing hero.
