Businessman and real estate agent, Thato "TT" Mbha is set to host his annual Amatyma International Men's Day which is aimed at targeting issues related to Men's mental wellness and finances to recognise and acknowledge men for the roles they play in society. Leading up to the event, the founder TT Mbha and comedian turned sangoma, turned prophet, Mongezi "Toll A$$ Mo" Mahlangu have made up after a fallout that happened due to this very event.

VENTING

In an interview on Podcast and Chill, Toll A$$ Mo accused TT of not coming to his rescue as a ?tyma' when he was being accused of rape by model Lerato Moloi, who accused Toll A$$ Moof raping her in 2014 while on a work trip in the Western Cape. In August 2022, Toll A$$ Mo was found not guilty of the rape charge. Mongezi said he reached out to TT to help him after the rape allegations had stripped him of his dignity, good standing and income. "I reached out to TT Mbha. "I said, 'let me come there and talk about real issues affecting men'." But TT never reverted. The two, who have not been on speaking terms, have since made peace.

HEALING

TT says they have since smoked a peace pipe. He describes the reunion as a, "true story of forgiveness" after explaining how Toll A$$ Mo falsely accused him on a public platform. "I reached out to him several times to try to understand where I had failed him, but he unfortunately never responded," TT says. "Last week, I reached out to him again in the hope that he would respond, which he did. I then asked for us to have a sit down as brothers, break bread, and smoke the peace pipe because we are both fathers after all," he adds. "Not only did I forgive him, but I also invited him to the Amatyma International Men's Day Wellness Experience this coming Sunday 19 November at Disoufeng, as my special guest, because he was human enough to apologise to me and admit that he needs physical, mental and financial help to get back on his feet."

FIXING

TT adds that, "His last social media post was for us to pray for him and we should do so because he needs the lifeline. Please let's not only pray but also help this good man to heal and get back to his family as a better man, husband and father," TT adds. "The lesson for me is to never judge or give up on anyone because mental health affects us all differently. Let's break every chain of judgment through genuine forgiveness." TT is a family man, married with two kids. Earlier this year, Mongezi announced that he and his wife, Mome Nale were headed for divorce, after being married for 11 years.
