After relocating to Dubai for more than one year, former Muvhango actress and influencer Tebogo Thobejane has returned home to South Africa on what seems to be a permanent arrangement to open yet another strip club, after closing down Club X at The Grand in Sandton, Johannesburg. This also follows a shoot-out incident that left her friend injured.
LEAVING SA
Tebogo left South Africa for Dubai and was in hiding after being shot in October last year while in a car on an e-hailing ride with a friend. The friend was hospitalised for weeks. A suspect who allegedly shot was arrested.
A friend has revealed that Tebogo has since opened another club called C30, in Sandton. "She is scared to let people know that she is a co-owner for her own safety,' the source said. "Tebogo almost lost her life. The clubbing business is very competitive, especially stripping. So, she is keeping it under wraps.'
COURAGE
Tebogo has confirmed to ZiMoja that she is indeed back in the clubbing business. "I'm curating at the club. It's a strip club called C30 in Sandton.'
Tebogo said she is still scared and treading carefully after the shooting incident. "Of course I am scared, who wouldn't be? I missed five bullets,' she said, adding that, "It takes a lot of strength and courage to try again but the guy's currently in jail.'
