Controversial singer and producer Nkazimulo 'TNS' Ngema has once again pulled a no-show at events he was booked to perform at this weekend starting on Friday. The My Darlie hitmaker had to apologise to the promoters and music fans after he missed all eight events he was fully paid for.

FULLY BOOKED FOR THE WEEKEND

TNS was scheduled to perform at Plush Pub and Grill in Durban on Friday, Ithuba Farm in Kranskop in KZN, Oxygen Dance Cafe in Stanger in KZN, NGK Lifestyle in Inanda in Durban, Emlanjeni Lounge in KwaMashu, Movito in Pinetown and Maqaqa Lifestyle on Saturday and at a private party today.

RECOVERING FROM A SWOLLEN UPPER LIP

In a media statement released on Saturday through his manager Siphesihle Mncube, TNS claimed that he failed to honor the gigs because he had a swollen upper lip. "It is with sadness that I can't pitch on all the events that I was booked for this weekend, I have a toothache problem which made my upper lip swollen. I am truly sorry to the promoters and fans who were looking forward to seeing me and my performances. My management will be in touch with all the promoters as we schedule new dates to pitch on all the venues that I won't be able to perform on these weekends. I am determined to make up to my promoters, venue owners and mostly my fans and I will keep that promise," he said.

NOT NEW TO CONTROVERSY

TSN is not new to the controversy of not showing up to the events. Early this year, he was called out by an event organiser named Lonwabo Nonkonyana after failing to show up at an event in December 2022. The musician was booked to perform at Nkandla Bar and Lounge in Lusikisiki, Eastern Cape, but didn't pitch after receiving full payment. In 2021 TNS angered the owner of Breeze Lounge Million Myeni in Mpumalanga after he pulled a no-show twice at the same venue.
