Former TS Records boss, Thembinkosi "TK" Nciza, is accused of frustrating the father of the late Robbie Malinga. According to the wife, Ann Malinga, of the late producer, he is refusing to change ownership of Malinga's car to that of her father-in-law, Coleman Malinga.

HIS ACTIONS QUESTIONABLE

The car is presently in Ann's possession, but his father-in-law is not able to drive it unless the registration of the car is transferred to Coleman?s name so that he can take full ownership. "We want the car to be transferred to my name. We have been waiting for many years now and that car is needed because it belongs to my son.They have been telling us the same story for many years, but they won?t change the ownership. The papers still show that the ownership has not been transferred," said Malinga senior.

Coleman said he has been begging TK for years without any joy.

"I don't know what kind if a friend he was to Robbie. His action suggest he was never a good friend," he added.

Robbie, who was Nciza's longtime friend and produced artists such as Ntando, Brown Dash, Izinyoka and Zahara, died on Christmas Day in 2017.

Ann Malinga explained how this mess happened. She said in 2006, his husband bought an Audi A4 under TS Records.

Nciza, who is a prominent and powerful politician and occupies the position of the Provincial Secretary of the African National Congress (ANC) in Gauteng,

is currently in an ongoing battle with Ann over unpaid royalties. This situation with the car adds fuel to the fire. 

A furious Ann said, "Robbie paid it (the car) in full, donkey years ago. I requested a name change to give the car to his father, straight after his passing in 2017."

She added, "The bank asked for both my signature & TK or Sbu (Leope), co-owner of TS Records for me to be able to change the ownership to Robbie's dad, TK has been promising to do it for the past seven years . That is inconveniencing us because the old man cannot use public transport. He is old for that and that is not what I want for him," she fumed, adding that they cannot renew the licence disc of the car making it useless.

EMPTY PROMISES

Ann is frustrated by Nciza whom she thinks is full of promises but too thin on delivery. Ann said she even suggested that Nciza keeps the car.

In a WhatsApp message seen by Zimoja, she said, "I have decided for peace sake and my sanity it's best to give you guys that car."

Nciza, who has always dismissed Ann whenever she makes enquiries about matters that involve Robbie, was more conciliatory this time around. 

He replied, "That is not my car sisi Ann- its Robbie's car now. I don't want us to bring tension that is not necessary. I saw what you want. I have been busy I hope you understand that. I will ask (DJ) Sbu to try and assist. Not even once (have I) said I want that car. Why do you believe there is no peace my sister?"

Robbie's father said he feels hard done by Nciza and DJ Sbu and he wants is to bring the matter to rest and for TS Records executives to sign and transfer the car to him.
