NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW
Sipho Kgomo (30) and Tshepo Mosemeni (33) were swiftly arrested on Tuesday in connection with the murders of 14-year-old Vuyolwethu Ziwela, her police officer uncle Mpho Kgobotlo and his two friends Phomolang Molakapatlo and Thando Dlamini while sitting inside a car. They have been charged with four counts of murder and one count of attempted murder.
?DON?T GIVE THEM BAIL?
The family of 14-year-old Vuyolwethu Ziwela said the court should not grant the accused bail. "The only thing we can ask from them is to change their ways of doing things and jail them forever. Perpetrators are always running around, it's always like that. I know it's a procedure that they just start with bail. The people who are staying in Block P will still see them. They will kill people and still run away," said family spokesperson, Yoliswa Nhlapo. Police spokesperson Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi said shortly after midnight, suspects travelling in two cars fired at a group of people who were sitting inside a car outside the 14-year-old victim's home. The owner of the car, a 29-year-old police officer attached to the K9 unit at the OR Tambo International Airport was also killed.
