Newly formed smaller parties, Build One South Africa Party (Bosa), All Citizens Party (ACP) and Rise Mzansi have promised to tackle job unemployment for the youth.
EDUCATION SYSTEM DETERORATING
Bosa which is led by former Democratic Alliance leader Mmusi Maimane said that job creation is their first priority
"South Africa has become one of those countries which is unable to create jobs for its nation, especially the youth. This is due to our education system which is deteriorating. We do have well educated youth but the current government is failing the youth as jobs are reserved or given to those close or associated to them. We want to change that and put the youth first," said Maimane.
NO ONE GOES TO BED ON AN EMPTY STOMACH
He added that, "South Africans need change and we cannot achieve many positive things as country if the party that has been in power for thirty years is still in power."
Rise Mzansi president, Songezo Zibi, said that his organisation will make sure that there is no household.that goes to bed on empty stomach.
"When given an opportunity to lead, the first thing we will prioritise is that no home must go to bed without food. As you know you cannot function well on an empty stomach. Job employment or opportunities will also be prioritised to grow our economy as a country. It is highly impossible for the country to grow the economy if we have a high number of unemployed youth," he said.
NO COALITION WITH RULING PARTY
ACP leader Dr Senathi Fisha said, "Our main focus is to have a change in leadership and our goal is for women to be given power to lead. We have realised that in the motor industry the country can employ more young people in a form of learnerships and give graduates opportunities within the motor industry. Once we get into Parliament we will push for South Africa to have it?s first manufactured car.
Maimane, Zibi and Fisha all agreed on one thing that they will never enter into a coalition government with the ruling party as their terms are not beneficial to the poor or voters but to protect their corrupt leaders.
