Skeem Saam actress Phophi Mudau's husband has passed away. The actress confirmed the news of her husband's passing to ZiMoja.

HE COLLAPSED AT HOME

Mudau said her husband, Mohale Percy Ratlabala, collapsed at home at around 9 am yesterday. "We woke up at our usual time and it was a normal morning for us. And then he just collapsed at around 9 am. I called an ambulance and when. the paramedics arrived, he was gasping for air. He became unconscious and the paramedics tried to resuscitate him, but he was gone, just like that,' she said. She added that Ratlabala was certified dead a few minutes after the ambulance arrived.

THEY HAVE BEEN TOGETHER FOR YEARS

The couple have a 10-year-old daughter, Moyahabo Mukondeleli Ratlabala together. Mudau started her career at Muvhango in 2012 and won an award for the role of Cindy Khuzwayo on Skeem Saam. She was devastated when she told ZiMoja about the sudden passing of her husband. She said it came as a huge surprise because Ratlabala was not sick, and neither did he show any signs of struggling healthwise. He was 39 years old. The couple were together for 18 years and married for nine. Mudau added that funeral arrangements will be revealed by the family during the cause of next week.
