She is fuming and not going down without a fight. Controversial and outspoken singer Inga Hina, who has in the past taken legal action against producer Mobi Dixon for their song Trigger released almost a decade ago, is back firing shots again, this time at publicist and artist manager Bulelwa Nazo.

MONEY MATTERS

In a series of posts on social media, Inga shared cryptic messages about how service providers can often get away with scamming people. But she would not let it happen to her. According to a friend close to the singer, she outsourced, publicist - Bulelwa for her music project where she paid her R40 000, for publicity, and with this, she also wanted a music video. "She paid for radio, TV,and the usual mainstream media. She received most of the work. Apparently, that money was supposed to be for a music video. That's where I get confused. I am not in the music business, but how does one pay for a music video with such a small budget." The friend says that they had a fallout. "She is demanding and wanted too much, I know my friend can be pushy." Bulelwa who is also Big Zulu's baby mama, has also managed Gigi Lamayne before they had a fallout.

THREATS

A few weeks ago, Inga is said to have asked for a refund after "Bulelwa failed to complete work from their plan," the friend adds. "I don't think they reached a conclusion of how much she would receive for the outstanding work. But when Bulelwa stopped taking her calls, she emailed her bosses, extended family, and friends, basically harassing her," another friend says. The friend adds that Bulelwa did a lot of work for Inga, "Taking her to radio stations, having articles out on her. She introduced her to a distribution company and they networked. They still had a lot in the pipeline. I just don't know what went wrong. I think it's two women working together," he says. "Inga has been calling, threatening, including everyone in Bulelwa's circle including her business associates. I mean, she could have just gone to the small claims court and settled it there." The friend adds that accompanied by the police on Monday 7 November, Inga doorstepped Bulelwa's place of work to hand over the letter of demand from The Randburg Magistrates Court. "I mean, the drama at the office, you should have seen it. She came in there, screaming, threatening, and making such a noise, demanding however much she was being owed. Bulelwa kept her cool and dealt with it." Bulelwa could not be reached for comment.

PAST DRAMA

A few years ago, Inga claimed that she had not received payments from Mobi Dixon for the song Trigger, and had pursued the matter, which has since been resolved. The singer then took time off from the music industry and did not release any music for almost ten years before dropping her project Big Bad City in 2022. "The music industry is taught and doesn't require people who are sensitive. Just handle things the legal way and protect your mental wellness," she said.
