He has been laying low from the social scenes and working diligently behind the scenes of season two of his reality show Diamond and Dolls. While he was away, reality TV star, producer, and businessman Tebogo Ramokgadi had been planning to go under the knife and get a tummy tuck, and he says he is now ready to show off.

The social butterfly has put money down and paid for his R100k worth of tummy tuck to get rid of excess fat around his belly. "This is something I have been planning to do for a long time. I have had the money delayed in setting an appointment, but now I'm ready. I have paid and am waiting for a date," he said. Tebogo said there's a big stigma around men getting surgery. "There are a lot of men who go under the knife, straight men at that, and not just the LGB community. We need to stop the stigma and stereotype of thinking that it's only women who love to look and feel good," he added.

Tebogo has been training and going to the gym in preparation for the big day. "I have a personal trainer. As you age, there are things that the gym cannot fix, and these need a surgeon," he said. "I have been getting lip fillers and botox, and now I will be doing the tummy tuck in a few weeks. This is a birthday present for myself for July," he said.

According to research, there has been a rise in men getting plastic surgery and embracing their options for cosmetic procedures. Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is one of the fittest, most muscular men in Hollywood, yet he struggled with achieving his body goals and underwent gynecomastia surgery (also called male breast reduction) to remove excess fat and glandular tissue from a man's chest. Howard Stern, also known as Radio 'shock jock', said plastic surgery changed his life after he underwent Rhinoplasty, to help smooth out a hump on his nose.
