R100k reward for suspect linked the death of two Soshanguve sisters

Police are looking for Dennis Nyatsunga for the alleged murder of four people in Soshanguve

Gauteng police have offered a reward for any information that could lead to the arrest of a suspect who was allegedly involved in the murder of four people, including two sisters. Two other people were shot and injured. The two girls, Tinyiko (4) and Mpfumo Mashaba (7), died when the shack they were in was set alight by gunmen, who were allegedly after their father.

REWARD FOR SUSPECT

SAPS spokesperson Colonel Mavela Masondo said a reward of R100 000 is on offer by the police. Two suspects have since been arrested for the murders and the police have linked Dennis Nyatsunga as the third suspect in the case. The police have also warned the Soshanguve community, not to approach the man. Nyatsunfa's image has been widely distributed on social media and once arrested he will be charged with multiple counts of murder, attempted murder, and arson.

ARMED AND DANGEROUS

Masondo said the suspect was armed and dangerous. "It is reported that Nyatsunga/Ngobeni is originally from Mozambique, but he might still be in South Africa. He is said to be using a fraudulent passport and asylum seeker papers. The suspect is short and dark in complexion."
