Speaking to Zimoja, Priddy Ugly, whose real name is Ricardo Moloi, said the secret to their longevity is respecting each other and being open. "It's about honouring each other and also having the hard and easy conversations with each other and making sure that we are always on the same page," he said.

Priddy Ugly said he believes that marriage is about becoming one and ensuring that each person's needs are taken care of. "We share each other's goals and aspirations; we take care of each other's needs; and we are friends before anything. We make sure that we do everything together and are always on the same wavelength. Even when it comes to wearing clothes, we match; the videos of Bontle that trend are taken by me, so it's about having a common purpose," he explained.

He added that in a union, companionship is important, and sharing common interests is also very important. "We are partners who share everything, even when it comes to career, family, and goals. We vowed to be partners, and we also vowed that we would be together for the long haul and those are the promises we are keeping," the star said.
