Musicians will host a prayer session for popular Ukhozi FM presenter and founder of Crown Gospel Music Awards, Zanele Mbokazi, on Friday. 

Mbokazi (53) discovered that she had lung cancer last month after spending a few days in hospital. 

TO BE HELD IN SANDTON 

The event will be held at the Sandton Assemblies of God and starts at 4pm. The invite is open to "all Christians and stakeholders". 

Her husband Bishop Mpendulo Nkambule said he will attend, even if it is for an hour. After Mbokazi was diagnosed with cancer, Bishop Nkambule and Ukhozi FM management were on hand to allay fears about Mbozaki?s health scare during the Vuka Breakfast Show.  Mbokazi said she was determined to fight lung cancer

SHE MIGHT ATTEND THE PRAYER SESSION

Her PR manager ,Sinenjabulo Mdluli, said the prayer is arranged by gospel artists in partnership with the Crown Gospel team. She said the public is allowed to attend and that Zanele, who is currently taking her treatment, might attend depending on how she feels on Friday 

?We are hoping she will attend but it depends how she feels,? she said.

It is unclear when will Mbokazi return to work as she is focusing on getting better.

?As to when she will go back to work, it is neither here or there. Our focus is on her recovery and full restoration,? Mdluli concluded.
