The police in Boipatong,Gauteng, are urgently seeking assistance following the abduction of a two-year-old boy yesterday from his mother's back. According to the police, Kutlwano Shalaba was taken from his mother as they were getting off a taxi.
KIDNAPPED BY THREE MEN IN A POLO
Police said the boy was allegedly kidnapped by three unknown males in a silver-grey VW Polo. "The 32-year-old mother of the missing boy claims her son was snatched by three unidentified men driving in a silver-grey VW Polo. The said men grabbed Kutlwano from her back and sped off," a police statement said.
POLICE INVESTIGATING KIDNAPPING CASE
The parents reported the incident to the police. "A case of kidnapping has been opened at Boipatong police station and an investigation is underway." The police said Kutloano was wearing brown pants, a white top, and black takkies. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the kidnapped child is urged to come forward and contact the branch commander, Captain Mokgoto on 082 778 7937 or Sergeant Thembeka Maxambela on 079 695 1338.
