Former Muvhango actress Phindile Gwala is officially a graduate. The businesswoman and actress completed her Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurship from Mancosa.

A GRADUATE

She told ZiMoja that balancing her acting career and university was not easy but worth it. "It was not easy at all as I had to juggle shoots and studies," she said adding that,"I had to find means to accommodate my situation. However, my last year was easy. As I result but I will be taking a study break and then doing honours next year." Phindile said her family supported her throughout her journey. "I am proud to say that hard work and dedication have paid off. I am grateful for the unwavering support I received from my family, friends and lecturers. Their encouragement and guidance kept me going, even when things got tough. I couldn't have achieved this milestone without their help,and I am eager to make them proud in the future. I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead."

A SHORT BREAK

Her last role on TV was on Izulu Nomhlaba in 2022. Then she took a short hiatus to focus on her education. "I had to take a break to focus on my studies but now I am working on something great that will be revealed soon. You will have to wait to see it. I am also doing some gigs and motivational talks." Phindile previously owned a shisa nyama outlet which has since closed down. But with her passion for entrepreneurship, she is ready to make her mark in the business world, again.

MPISANE'S DAUGHTER GRADUATES

Meanwhile, Durban businessman and MaMkhize's ex-husband Sbu Mpisane is proud of her daughter Nosipho Boitumelo Mpisane, who graduated with an Honours degree from the same private university as Phindile. Nosipho, who was studying towards her B. Com - Marketing Management degree, graduated on Tuesday. Mpisane told ZiMoja that Nosipho fully represented the Mpisane clan. "This is the high class of academic intelligence on the wing of my surname. Nosipho is not in the limelight and she is doing well academically." Mpisane said, adding that he hopes that Nosipho won't struggle to make it in life with her qualifications. "At the moment, she works for a big company and business wise, she will rise against all odds, and she will one day manage big companies or run her own companies," said a proud Mpisane.
