According to sources close to the situation the pair met via social media after exchanging likes. The pair decided to take their social media encounter in person. "They realised that they have a lot in common and to give it a chance," A source close to the new couple says this time Phelo has learnt to keep his relationship private especially after his relationship ended in tears with Moshe who since moved on with a much younger boyfriend.

After their break up it was reported that Phelo ended up under hospital observation. According to another source Dube is calmer and chilled, the source says he says a "soothing effect" on Phelo. The source says Phelo is in love and this time he wants this relationship to work. "When Phelo falls in love, he falls hard," adds the source.

According to the source Thami has recently met Phelo’s inner circle and they approved, they love him. "Even his ever-supportive older sister Pinky knows about him and is happy for her younger brother, he is happy that he is in a good space," According to the source Phelo who suffered from depression after his breakup with Moshe is currently in a good space, their hit reality show is doing well and is getting another season after receiving good ratings, and now he has found love again.
