She arrived at the Randburg Magistrates Court yesterday flanked by two large bodyguards but due to the matter being in a 'family court', her security was not allowed inside. Social media influencer and actress Ntando Duma made another appearance in court after a tiff with a neighbour at her complex over a children's play area.

THE FIGHT

The incident happened last year when Ntando's neighbour called her out for letting kids play at a parking lot unsupervised and among those kids, was Ntando's child. A source at the complex says the conflict started when the neighbour almost bumped a child with his car and told the children not to play in the parking lot and they went to report to their parents, who came to confront him in the roadway. This led to shouting between the neighbour and Ntando's friend. In court papers, the neighbour alleges that Ntando's lady friend swore at them "

PROTECTION ORDERS

The actress and her neighbour have taken protection orders against each, and the neighbour was granted a protection order. The two were supposed to appear in court on 6 December on the day, Ntando did not show up.  For her second appearance on 30 January 2024, Ntando did not make it to court, due to falling ill and sent a doctor's note. On her third appearance in court on 12 February, Ntando arrived with a new attorney.

POSTPONED

Ntando appeared again yesterday and the matter was postponed to 10 June for further investigation. A source has revealed to ZiMoja that the mom of one is still trying to prove the legitimacy of her doctor's sick note for the court appearances that she missed on 30 January 2024. "She showed up at the hearing with two bodyguards. Arriving with bodyguards in court was a "little presumptuous' as the neighbour is the one granted a protection order. "What can he possibly do?' Ntando could not be reached for comment and the neighbour said the case is exhausting and that he cannot wait for it to be over. "I have no more comment on the matter, as it is with the court.'
