While he is busy being controversial as always, threatening the EFF and claiming to be the border gate of KwaZulu Natal province, Ngizwe Mchunu's home life is falling apart as his youngest wife has left him.

In a recent interview on Podcast Affirmation, artist Folda Grace Mchunu, Ngizwe's third wife revealed that she is no longer with him. The couple got married in 2015 and they do not have children together. The news comes as a shock to many, as the couple was married for eight years and had appeared to be quite happy together. However, it seems that there were underlying issues that led to their separation last year.

ZiMoja saw snippets of her interview on the podcast where she sat with host Sizwe Blose in an interview which comes out this Friday. She spoke candidly about the challenges she faced in her marriage, including his constant involvement in politics and the negative attention it brought to their family. She also spoke about the toll that his legal troubles had taken on their relationship.

She told ZiMoja that she has been happy and single for a while and that her first love at the moment is her music. "I'm very single- I really just want to focus on myself, work and play my part in the artistic world. I wasted way too many years focused on the wrong things just to please people. I'm not that girl anymore," she adds. She says being single has been blissful and pleasant. "It's peaceful for me because I have aspirations and goals to achieve. So, all my energy can now go into that," she says. She is confident that that this year will be a good year for her. "I just want to put out really good music, make people connect with me through my work. I plan to finally live my life the way I was meant to live it. My main focus is my work, peace and happines," she says. Floda, said she is almost done with putting last touches on her upcoming album but promises that her single will be dropping next week. "I will be dropping a single next week called Sarafina," she reveals.
