The ongoing social media war between Maskandi singer, Khuthuza, and Afrotainment social media influencer, Samkelo Shezi, over a girlfriend nearly reached boiling point when the two almost came to blows at the famous KwaMai Mai in Johannesburg yesterday.

The feud between the two started when Shezi accused Khuthuzani of stealing his girlfriend after he discovered that the two are allegedly dating the same girl. Khuthuza, real name Khethokuhle Ngobese, on the other hand, claims that Shezi is just jealous of his success and was trying to bring him down. Shezi,who has been provoking the maskandi singer, even posted a video on socials challenging the singer into the boxing ring. In the video, Shezi said he is not scared of Khuthuzani and wants to show him flames.

The social media feud quickly escalated, with both parties hurling insults and accusations at each other. Fans of both artists also got involved, with some taking sides and others pleading for peace. Until Shezi made a mistake and disclosed his location ( KwaMai Mai) challenging Khuthuzani who happened to be close by. He accepted the challenge and went there with his friends. Things finally came to a head when the two ran into each other at the popular hangout downtown Joburg. Eyewitnesses said that the two exchanged heated words before trying to physically attack each other. Fortunately, security quickly intervened and separated them before any serious harm could be done. Called for a comment, Khuthuza said he does not regret what he did, and he wont to be bullied or disrespected by a fan. "He challenged and I accepted the challenge," Khuthuza said. Shezi refused to comment. "I have nothing to say."
