She has been mourning the loss of her lover and rapper Kiernan "AKA" Forbes who was murdered outside of a Durban restaurant on the evening of 10 February 2023 with his friend and celebrity chef Tebello "Tibz" Montsoane. Now, it’s back to work for rapper Nadia Nakai, who recently celebrated her birthday. She has since bagged a new gig as the host of the highly anticipated Love and Hip-Hop South Africa Reunion.
BACK TO WORK
The reunion is set to bring together the biggest stars from the first local season. Hosted by the talented and glamorous Nadia Nakai, this event was definitely an unforgettable night of entertainment and excitement. "I am honoured and thrilled to be hosting the Love and Hip-Hop South Africa Reunion," Nadia says. "This is an incredible opportunity to bring together the cast, share their stories, and provide a platform for them to express themselves. I can’t wait to bring the energy and make this reunion an unforgettable experience for everyone involved."
THE REUNION
The reunion wastes no time in kicking things off with DJ Speedsta interrogated about his new love interest, who is a very close friend to Money Badoo. We also find out if Speedsta is still celibate. Fifi Cooper addresses the crew about her new man and how things are going between them. She opens up about why she was hesitant to bring him on the show and then calls the crew out on how he was treated. Money Badoo gets pushed into a corner when she is asked about her apparent crush on Yanga Chief, is there more to the big bro/little sis dynamic than they are letting on? Things move to Gigi and Money Badoo, and their tiff around who makes better music. Badoo gets called out for apologising to Gigi on camera but contradicting herself in the diary session which rubbed Fifi up the wrong way. "I feel like you disrespected me and that’s not cool," Gigi says. Gigi goes on to push matters further and tells Money Badoo to "sit down" as she hasn’t achieved even half of what Gigi has done in the game! How far are things going to get between these two queens of hip-hop?
