He has been laying low after being involved in a car crash that almost took his life. He sat back and evaluated his life and took music gigs here and there. But singer and songwriter Vusi Nova is back and is currently shooting his tell-all reality show.
MAKING TV
The show is set to share his life on and off stage and open up glimpses of his love life, friendships and past experiences. In the doccie, Vusi will open up about his past as a drug user. A close friend who features on the show tells ZiMoja that, "People will get to see another side to the artist that many people have not seen," he says. "People are always curious about Vusi’s love life, especially with so many assuming that he and Somizi are in a relationship. People will get to see the truth for themselves. They will also learn his process of making music, how he creates music and how he has also contributed towards other people’s careers." Although Vusi can not reveal too much on the reality show as yet, he says there is something major that he is working on. "I can’t say much, you will get me into trouble, but we are documenting something, and people will get a lot more insight into my life."
GRATITUDE
Earlier this year, Vusi was involved just after he delivered a heated performance at Somizi Mhlongo’s Golden Jubilee event in Sun City. He was making his way to another event in the Vaal. According to a witness who attended to the scene to help, " a police van made a U-turn on the highway by a curve causing the crash to happen," . Vusi’s Land Rover was a complete write-off. The police officer had to be rushed to the hospital and the bodyguard’s eye was badly hurt. Vusi and the others had minor injuries on their bodies. The Thandiwe singer said he was grateful to have made it out alive.
