Sensational maskandi artist Limit Nala is being accused of being diva after he refused to take a gig in the far north of KwaZulu Natal.
The war of words between event organiser, Yenziwe Ndimande, became tense when the Ubhanqiwe hit maker vented on his social media post, accusing the Big 5 Hlabisa event organiser of being disorganised.
Meanwhile, Yenziwe is accusing Limit of increasing his asking price from the normal rate of R35 000 to R60 000 in a short space of time.
This did not sit well with her and she decided to cancel the Limit's booking for The Big 5 Hlabisa event, which will be held today at Makhasa Stadium in Hluhluwe.
A furious Limit says, "Let me start by clarifying that I don't have a manager. I am my own manager and I take care of my brand. There is only one person that I work with, who takes my bookings and I trust them. I expected Yenziwe to deal with this matter privately as an older person but she did the opposite. If Yenziwe wants to book me for her event, she must kindly call me directly. She must not involve other people that I don't work with," Limit said.
Limit further said that he would be attending a maskandi event in Durban and not in Hluhluwe today.
Called for comment, an irritated Yenziwe said, "I am no longer interested after they went on social media and bashed me. Limit posted about me and I told him that they were dragging my name on that post. He said he was going to delete the post but instead he closed the comments. I am no longer interested in anything that has to do with him ever. All I wanted was to have him at my event but he decided to fight for Linda (responsible for Limit's bookings) who is gatekeeping us from booking him. I am done and I will never book him for any of my events," she said.
