The fight between maskandi award winning artist Khuzani Mpungose and Quality Biyela is far from over. Biyela, who is known to be the ally of another maskandi artist Mthandeni Manqele, is said to have dished out provocative words to Khuzani, who didn?t take it well.
WARM KLAP
Various people who attended a maskandi festival that was held in Settlers Park in Ladysmith, KwaZulu Natal, on Saturday, told ZiMoja that Khuzani slapped Quality over the word ilembe, which is used in honour of the Zulu King.
"A few weeks ago Quality shared a status on social media where he stated that he was the only "ilembe", He insinuated that Khuzani was an "ilebe" (a derogatory term) not ilembe, which angered the muso," the source said. Another source said that after the hot klap, Quality went to his car to fetch a gun.
"It became very nasty to the extent that Quality wanted to shoot Khuzani over the shisa mpama," the source said.
BEEF FAR FROM OVER
"Before Quality left the BnB where he was booked at, he opened a case of assault. This is going far and judging by Quality?s social media posts the beef is far from over," the source said.
But today Quality posted on his social media pages that he is not beefing with Khuzani but he still wants answers as to why he slapped him.
Khuzani?s manager Sthembiso Zuma denied that he gave Quality a hot klap, despite circulating videos.Attempts to get comment from Quality failed as he ignored ZiMoja?s calls.
